Salon Owner Leone Confirms Meghan Markle Shunned by Hollywood Celebs: Fear of Secretly Recorded Encounters

Another member of Meghan's circle, hairdresser Amanda Leone, owns a salon in a shopping mall in Montecito, which is also frequented by another Meghan buddy, television personality Ellen DeGeneres. Megan is often seen going into the salon the day before her everyday events, according to a source, and it's believed that Ellen recommended the salon.

The Duchess had grown close to Hollywood power agent Ari Emanuel, head of William Morris Endeavor, who signed Meghan in April. He's married to designer Sarah Staudinger, known for her pink linen short suit that Meghan wore to an LA Lakers basketball game.

However, things have changed, and it's now strange that Meghan is completely avoided by once-close friends, according to the source. Leone herself was surprised by the change in their relationship.

Meghan and others still go to the salon fairly regularly, but gradually, the Duchess's Hollywood friends have adjusted their beauty appointment schedules to avoid the days when Meghan is likely to stop by. The list of salon friends who've completely isolated Meghan includes Sarah Rafferty, Abigail Spencer, Sarah Staudinger, Ellen DeGeneres, Katy Perry, and Gloria Steinem, who never seems to come again.

Recently, there were claims that Meghan and Harry were banned from the $4,200-per-year San Vicente Bungalows for arranging paparazzi shots of themselves when they arrived and departed, possibly invading the privacy of other guests.

The privacy policy at San Vicente Bungalows strictly prohibits taking photographs inside the club, and stickers are often placed over camera phone lenses. Moreover, discussing what they witness inside the club is forbidden for members and guests.

Perhaps the celebrity friends at the salon were terrified that their gossip and secrets would be recorded by Meghan and then sold to the press. Years ago, when she was an actress, Meghan Markle often wrote in a blog called The Tig about her closest friends, some of whom were soul mates while others were celebrities she met at showbiz events and parties. Over time, her circle of chums broadened to include clothes designers, socialites, and charity campaigners.

Among them were David and Victoria Beckham, who were guests at Meghan's wedding to Prince Harry in 2018. However, the friendship appears to have faded, as Meghan and Harry were not guests at the wedding of the Beckhams' son Brooklyn to U.S. heiress Nicola Peltz in April of last year.

The Beckhams, like many in Meghan's world, appear to have been 'Markled'—a tongue-in-cheek term used by critics to describe how swiftly she moves on from those once close to her. Her father, Thomas, 79, is probably the best example, as he and Meghan no longer talk after he sold paparazzi pictures of himself preparing for her wedding."
