Sarrah Spencer Takes a Stand: Banning Prince Harry from Exploiting Diana's Legacy in Meghan's Controversial Movie

In a bold move, Sarrah Spencer has barred Prince Harry from capitalizing on Diana's legacy in the wake of Meghan Markle's controversial movie portrayal. The Hollywood-bound couple, Harry and Meghan, are set to produce a Netflix film after acquiring the rights to a best-selling novel worth £3 million.

This strategic shift towards fictional production marks a departure from their previous focus on personal documentaries, particularly following the setback of their Spotify deal. The novel in question, titled "Meet Me at the Lake," penned by former journalist turned author Carly Fortune, offers a compelling love story centered around a couple meeting in their 30s.

Drawing parallels with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's real-life relationship, the book delves into themes of childhood trauma, loss of a parent in a car crash, mental health struggles, and postnatal depression.

Moreover, it embraces steamy adult scenes and explores the complexities of drug use. The narrative unfolds against the backdrop of Toronto, Canada, a place significant to Meghan's history as it's where she resided while dating Harry.

This news, however, has stirred a strong reaction within the Spencer family. They vehemently oppose Harry and Meghan's ongoing exploitation of Diana's tragic passing to garner attention. The Spencer family has endured enough defamation through depictions in series like Netflix's "The Crown." Specifically, Diana's sister Sarrah Spencer finds Megan's actions distasteful and disrespectful, accusing her of preventing Diana from resting in peace.

In "The Crown," Spencer's character is portrayed negatively, portrayed as bossy and demanding. However, reality paints a different picture. Diana held her sister in high regard, with royal biographer Sarah Bradford attesting that Diana deeply admired Spencer. Reports suggest Diana saw Spencer as one of her few confidantes, describing her as the only person she could trust.

Following Diana's untimely passing, Spencer actively contributed to upholding her sister's legacy. She played a pivotal role in the Diana Princess of Wales Memorial Fund, channeling millions towards various charitable causes. Spencer maintained a close connection with Diana's children and remained committed to preserving her memory.

At present, sources indicate that Sarrah Spencer is contemplating using her authority over Diana's legacy as a means to discipline Prince Harry and halt the exploitation of Diana's name. This move aims to compel Harry to reconsider his involvement in Meghan's movie project.

The acquisition of the book rights stands as a significant achievement for the couple, signifying their first major deal since their £16 million Spotify contract fell through. Notably, this also marks the inaugural instance of Archworld Productions adapting a novel into a fictional drama as part of their lucrative Netflix venture, reported to be worth £80 million."
