Sir Timothy Promoted After Urgent Meeting to Cancel Meghan Markle's Title

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will not be attending the Royal Family's commemorations at Balmoral to mark a year since the death of the late Queen, as reported last night.

King Charles and Queen Camilla are expected to observe the poignant one-year anniversary on September 8 at the Scottish estate, surrounded by family, including Prince Andrew and his ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York.

Despite their planned appearance in Dusseldorf, Germany, the day after the commemoration to kick off the Invictus Games, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex received no outreach from senior royals. Sources claim that if they are not included in any of the plans, they will find their own way to mark the significance.

Relations between Charles and Harry are still believed to be strained after the Duke launched a series of attacks on the royal family with his bombshell memoir and a flurry of media interviews to promote the book.

According to a source close to Anne, the British Parliament and King Charles have made a final decision to strip Prince Harry and Meghan Markle of their royal titles, leaving the couple furious.

However, there is a significant twist to the decision: the titles will be bestowed upon Sir Timothy Lawrence, the husband of Princess Anne, who is widely regarded as the most loyal non-royal member of the monarchy.

Sir Timothy's unwavering commitment to royal duties and the monarchy has earned him this distinction and trust from King Charles and the wider royal family. The Duke of Sussex title was originally a gift from Queen Elizabeth upon Harry's marriage to Meghan in 2018. However, since they quit their royal duties and moved to California, there have been ongoing suggestions that the couple should be stripped of their titles.

Recently, in a video for the Responsible Technology Youth Power Fund, the Sussexes referred to themselves as "Harry and Meghan" rather than using their Duke and Duchess of Sussex titles. Some interpret this as a sign of their transition away from royal life.

Sir Timothy deserves this title and more for his dedication to the UK and support for the royal family, and he will serve Sussex well. Lawrence has been a fixture at royal events over the years and was even granted a special privilege on the Buckingham Palace balcony for Queen Elizabeth's Platinum Jubilee in 2022.

As trooping the color approached, the palace announced that only working royals would appear on the balcony, with just a few exceptions. The Cambridge and Wessex children are also expected to appear alongside Sir Tim Lawrence, who has been a frequent attendee and supporter of Princess Anne on official engagements, making him the only non-royal-born or non-working royal on the balcony for the event.
