Sophie Leaks Reason for Royal Rift: Meghan Markle Blocked from Funeral, Princess Dress Cut to Create Ring Around Charlotte

During the Queen's funeral, numerous images captured members of the royal family forming a protective circle around Charlotte to shield her from Meghan. This left many viewers wondering why young and cheerful Charlotte seemed fearful of Meghan. To shed light on this, Sophie disclosed that Meghan had attempted to alter Charlotte's hair and dress during the funeral, reminding her of the year she was a bridesmaid. 

This revelation made the entire royal family, especially Kate, highly uncomfortable. Meghan has faced allegations of bullying in the past, but Tom Bauer's recent book, "Revenge," contains even more damning claims. Bauer, an investigative journalist, asserts that Meghan targeted three-year-old Princess Charlotte during a bridesmaid fitting, causing Kate Middleton to break down in tears.

It has long been rumored that Meghan made Kate cry due to the length of the bridesmaid dress that Charlotte was instructed to wear at Meghan's wedding to Prince Harry, which deviated from royal protocol. 

Kate reportedly requested Meghan to permit the three-year-old to wear tights with the ill-fitting shoes to prevent blisters, but her plea went unanswered. Meghan later reversed the narrative in her notorious interview with Oprah, claiming that Kate had made her cry during the disagreement.

Bauer's new book corroborates the original claims that Meghan reduced Kate to tears over the length of Charlotte's dress. Additionally, the book alleges that Meghan unfavorably compared Princess Charlotte to her best friend Jessica Mulroney's daughter, who was also a flower girl at the wedding. 

This further strained Meghan's relationship with her sister-in-law, as Kate had recently given birth to Prince Louis and was too exhausted to deal with Meghan's unwillingness to compromise.

Meghan has consistently denied any allegations of bullying throughout her public life. While it remains unclear whose version of events is accurate, it is evident that tensions between the Duchess and her sister-in-law, Kate, were strained during this period. One thing is certain: when someone shows you who they are for the first time, believe them. Meghan was observed offering a comforting smile to her niece, Princess Charlotte, during Queen Elizabeth's funeral. 

The royal family gathered at Westminster Abbey for the state funeral service, honoring the late monarch who passed away on September 8 at the age of 96. Meghan, wiping away tears, stood alongside Camilla, the Queen Consort, and the Princess of Wales. Charlotte, the seven-year-old, was seen briefly turning to look at Meghan, who responded with a brief smile, despite the somber occasion. Charlotte wore an all-black ensemble in tribute to her great-grandmother, matching her mother's attire, while also wearing a horseshoe-shaped brooch on her dress.
