According to The Sunday Mail, guided tours in the vicinity of the couple's £11 million Montecito residence are causing disturbances to their peace and privacy. These tours are purportedly organized by a friend of Meghan Markle's estranged father, Karl Larsen.
For a fee of £958.84, a group of six people can embark on a bus ride that takes them along the road leading to the couple's home. The tour includes stops at some notable spots, such as Meghan's favorite shop, Pierre Lafond, the Tre Lune restaurant, and the Santa Barbara Polo Club, where the former actress shared a famous kiss with Prince Harry after a game last year.
Larsen claims to have received approval for the tour from Meghan's father, Thomas. He stated, "I've talked to Thomas about the idea for the tour, and he said, 'Oh my God, you might have a winner there.' I've also asked if we could go see him...and he said, 'Hold that thought.' So it's not happening at the moment, but hopefully one day."
Larsen further explained his motivation: "I was in Rosarito, Mexico, when Meghan first began dating Harry and soon got to know her dad. I just want to share my experience with the many, many Harry and Meghan supporters and even those who might not be supportive but are curious."
