She also allegedly lied about booking Thomas's flight for the wedding, and he was never sent an official invitation.
Interestingly, a year before this, a Markle family insider revealed Thomas's residence in Mexico, an article that credited the same photographer who later set him up for paparazzi shots in the same location. On March 27, CCTV footage captured Thomas meeting with Jeff Rayner to arrange these pictures.
The story broke shortly after, and the first setup picture of Thomas looking up Harry and Meghan at a computer was taken on March 29. Megan flew to Los Angeles to meet with Doria about wedding dress sketches just two days after this meeting with Rayner. Rayner made around $1,300 from these pictures.
So, the truth emerges that Meghan flew to Los Angeles to meet with Jeff Rayner under the pretext of meeting her mom, but she had planned everything. The story was released shortly before the wedding to garner maximum sympathy for her. There's no logical explanation for the royal wedding dress still being in the sketch stages a month before the wedding. Why did she need to be there in person instead of using Skype or FaceTime?
