Prince Harry recently made a subtle reference to the royal family during his discussion of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) in his new Netflix docuseries, "Heart of Invictus." In this series, the Duke of Sussex engages with competitors and organizers preparing for the 2020 Invictus Games in The Hague, which were later postponed until spring 2022 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

During an interview segment in the show, Prince Harry opens up about PTSD and trauma experienced in war zones, hinting at his family's response. He shared his personal experience, saying, "I can only speak to my own experience, but from my tour of Afghanistan in 2012, flying Apaches, somewhere after that, there was an unraveling, and the trigger for me was actually returning from Afghanistan."

He further explained that the trauma he experienced dated back to 1997 when he was just 12 years old and lost his mother. Harry confessed that he never discussed his feelings, suppressed them like most youngsters, and only later realized the need for therapy.

This isn't the first time Prince Harry has addressed his trauma. He previously discussed his PTSD diagnosis in his memoir, "Spear," and delved into more details during a conversation with Dr. Gabor Maté, a trauma, addiction, and stress specialist. In this discussion, Harry highlighted the support he received from his wife, Meghan Markle, and his desire to raise his children differently.
