According to a royal expert, Meghan, also known as the Duchess of Sussex, is deliberately avoiding the UK to evade any unfavorable reactions. Instead, she prefers to spend her time in places where she feels celebrated and appreciated, often mingling with A-listers in the United States.
Royal commentator Kinsey Schofield shared these insights, echoing the sentiment that Meghan is prioritizing her self-preservation. Schofield emphasized that Meghan wishes to steer clear of any negative attention, opting for environments that are more welcoming and supportive.
These observations come in the wake of royal biographer Andrew Morton's suggestion that Meghan has no intention of returning to the UK. Morton cited her reluctance to engage in formal protocols, such as curtsying to Kate Middleton, the Princess of Wales and future Queen.
Schofield, in agreement with Morton, stated, "I certainly think that Meghan will avoid the UK for self-preservation. She does not want the boos. She doesn't want the negative attention… She wants to go where she's celebrated and elevated."
Morton, who previously collaborated with Diana, Princess of Wales, on his 1992 book "Diana: Her True Story," ruled out the possibility of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex permanently relocating from the US to the UK.
As Prince Harry embarks on a visit to the UK on September 7, Meghan will not be accompanying him. However, she is expected to join him in Germany for the upcoming Invictus Games, set to begin next week.
