During an appearance on Sky News Australia, Sharon Osbourne didn't mince words when expressing her concerns about the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. She pointed out that Harry and Meghan appeared to be keeping their children in the dark about their royal heritage and isolating them from their extended family.
Osbourne remarked, "They're fine, but their children don't have any family. No grandparents, no aunts, no uncles, no cousins – there's nothing. Their babies have their mom and dad, but they seem to know nothing of their heritage."
For those not up to speed, Prince Harry and Meghan have had a strained relationship with the royal family, exacerbated by their revelations in a memoir, a documentary, and an explosive interview with Oprah.
Sharon Osbourne's comments came in the wake of Meghan's father, Thomas Markle, pleading for the opportunity to see his grandchildren, Lilibet and Archie, during an interview with Good Morning Britain.
"I still haven't seen my grandkids," he lamented. "I want to see my grandkids, and I think the king would like to see his grandkids as well. Put the past behind us, let me see my grandkids," he pleaded.
He also mentioned his ability to take legal action in California to see them but expressed his desire not to resort to such measures. Thomas Markle emphasized that he believed he had done nothing wrong and stressed that there was no justification for the way he and the King were being treated.
