Royal expert Christine Ross further elaborated on the idea of a Meghan Markle memoir. She pointed out that Meghan might face a challenge in balancing what's best for her image with what the publishers want to sell. Ross suggested that if Meghan focused on her individual story rather than capitalizing further on her "Duchess of Sussex" title, she might win back some favor from the public.
However, Ross acknowledged that there could be substantial commercial success if Meghan chose to write a memoir. She also noted that there might be curiosity seekers beyond just royal fans who would be interested in reading it.

Within its pages, Harry discussed his life as a royal and detailed the reasons that led him and Meghan Markle to step back from their senior roles within the royal family in early 2020. Harry's firsthand account of life within the palace walls resonated with readers.
On the other hand, Meghan's life prior to meeting Prince Harry was relatively ordinary, and much of her backstory has already been well-documented in interviews and publications. Therefore, while Prince Harry's book provided a unique insider's perspective on royal life, readers might not find the same level of intrigue in Meghan's memoir, considering her comparatively brief connection to the royal family.
