Meghan Markle Furious Over Kate's Fashion Critique at Invictus: 'Let Me Show You How to Dress in White!

Meghan Markle radiated with joy upon her arrival in Germany to reunite with her husband, Prince Harry, at the Invictus Games. She had just flown in from Los Angeles and was captured on camera sporting a bright smile, oversized dark sunglasses, and a stylish patterned scarf.

Meghan was seated comfortably in the back of a luxurious Range Rover as she made her way to the event. Her journey involved an overnight flight from Los Angeles to Heathrow, followed by a brief stopover in the UK before catching a connecting British Airways flight to Dusseldorf.

However, there is speculation that Meghan's presence might steal the spotlight from the Duke and overshadow the event. Her arrival coincides with Harry's 39th birthday, and there are concerns that her diva-like behavior could dampen his celebration. This journey marked Meghan's first transatlantic trip since her visit to London for the Queen's funeral in September of the previous year.

Meghan's arrival in Germany occurred shortly after 4:00 p.m. local time, and she was discreetly whisked away from the airport terminal to the five-star Hyatt Regency hotel, where she would join Harry. Her bodyguard occupied the front seat of the vehicle, ensuring her safety. Upon arrival at the hotel, Meghan was driven into an underground car park, accompanied by a Volkswagen SUV and the couple's vigilant bodyguard, former secret service agent Chris Sanchez.

The couple attended a private reception organized for friends and families of competitors representing 21 countries participating in the Invictus Games. While details of the event were kept under wraps, it was expected to be a relaxed and informal gathering, with children also in attendance. The invitees were all part of the UK Invictus family and had traveled together on an RAF flight from Birmingham.

Meghan, who was booked into the hotel's presidential suite with Harry, was scheduled to head directly to the private event from the Hyatt hotel. In other news, organizers issued a severe weather warning for Dusseldorf, with heavy rain and thunderstorms anticipated from 6:00 p.m. to midnight. Attendees were advised to avoid the outside areas at the Invictus Games Park.

Prince Harry has been a staunch supporter of the UK team at the Invictus Games, happily posing for numerous selfies with competitors, their families, and young children attending the event. Friends and families from other nations were also invited to the reception, making it a delightful gathering. The event was described as very casual, with no formal sit-down meal planned. The venue was kept a closely guarded secret, and attendees from various countries were transported to the venue via a fleet of coaches.

Earlier in the day, Harry attended a wheelchair basketball match between the UK and Ukrainian teams alongside his friend JJ Chalmers, a former Marine who competed in the inaugural Invictus Games in London in 2014. Harry engaged in lively conversations, including one with his former program coordinator, Beth Hurley.

Miss Hurley had previously worked as an event manager with the Royal Foundation, the joint charitable vehicle for Prince Harry, Prince William, and Kate, before the Sussexes' departure from the foundation in 2018. She remained with Harry and Meghan until 2020 and is currently the co-founder and partner of Hoola, a philanthropic advisory partnership that connects influencers with charitable causes.

Following his visit to the indoor rowing event, Harry was set to return to his hotel in anticipation of Meghan's arrival. His surprise appearance at a marquee for competitors was a testament to his enthusiasm for the Invictus Games.
