Meghan Markle Upset as Royal Photographer Criticizes Kids' Photo, Louis Nominated for IMAGO Awards

Prince Louis is capturing hearts once again as the youngest child of Princess Catherine and Prince William features in several images nominated for the Imageo Photograph of the Year, presented in partnership with the UK Picture Editors' Guild Awards. Notably, members of the British royal family are the subjects of nine out of the 20 finalists.

Prince Louis stole the show with his adorable antics during the Platinum Jubilee pageant in June 2022. Whether sitting on his grandfather King Charles's lap or dancing to the music, he was the center of attention. However, the photo in the running for Photo of the Year depicts Prince Louis playfully placing his hand over his mother Princess Kate's mouth.

Several of the finalist images capture moments from the Trooping the Colour event in 2022, coinciding with Prince Louis's horse-riding debut alongside his older siblings, Prince George and Princess Charlotte. The real excitement began when they joined Queen Elizabeth on the Buckingham Palace balcony. Prince Louis, with his memorable ear-covering and joyful cheers as the Royal Air Force planes roared overhead, brought smiles not only to the Queen but also to the audience.

Photographer Samir Hussein, responsible for one of the finalist images, expressed his delight on Twitter, sharing, "Really happy to have my photo of the Queen and Prince Louis nominated for Photo of the Year at the Picture Editor Awards. A real honor to be recognized amongst such stunning images."

It's noteworthy that while Prince Louis and his royal cousins have these precious moments captured and celebrated, there is a noticeable absence of updated photos and outdoor playtime for Meghan and Harry's children.

In the midst of these heartwarming moments, the Wales family of five is currently enjoying quality time at Balmoral. Princess Eugenie, who has spent numerous summers there, provided insight into their typical day at the estate, which includes walks, picnics, and lots of canine companions. The 52,000-acre Scottish estate offers a serene environment where Royals have found solace since the days of Queen Victoria. Activities range from hunting grouse to fly fishing, with the family enjoying these group pursuits.

Beyond outdoor adventures, Balmoral is known for its playful atmosphere, with pranks and jokes being part of the fun. Prince Louis, in particular, is having a blast at Balmoral, cherishing the special time spent with his cousins. With the new school term approaching, Prince George, Princess Catherine, and Prince Louis will return to their prestigious private school, Lumbridge, in Berkshire, near their home on the Royal Windsor estate. The Autumn term is set to commence on September 6th.
