Meghan Markle's Outburst: Confrontation with Waiter Over Age Difference with Prince Harry

Meghan Markle found herself in an awkward and somewhat amusing situation during a visit to a restaurant in Dusseldorf. The Duchess of Sussex, who was joining her husband Prince Harry in celebrating his 39th birthday, underwent her third outfit change of the day.

Meghan, at the age of 42, sported a striking £268 Harbor shirt in red and white pinstripes, a piece from the California-inspired brand "do." She paired it with the same white skinny jeans from the Frame that she had worn earlier in the day while attending a sitting volleyball match between Nigeria and Ukraine.

On her feet, she opted for her previously seen beige suede flat pumps from Mendola Blanik, adorned with an exquisite bow. The venue for this casual gathering was the Ungeladen Castle, a part of Schumacher Brewery.

During their interaction with the restaurant staff, some interesting insights emerged. Frank, a 27-year-old waiter, initially didn't recognize much about the royal family. He primarily identified the tall, red-haired gentleman as Prince Harry but amusingly failed to realize that the person right beside him was Meghan Markle, the renowned former actress. He assumed she was an assistant to the group.

The atmosphere was relaxed, and they all enjoyed Schumacher beer, which, incidentally, had also been served at the Invictus Games. Throughout the meal, the couple sat alongside each other.

The restaurant's owner, Tia, expressed her excitement, saying, "I had goosebumps when they walked into the restaurant. I had watched Harry's speech on the stage of the Invictus Games and couldn't believe he was in my restaurant. Prince Harry was so lovely and gave me a hug. Initially, I couldn't tell that the person walking next to him was the Duchess of Sussex; she dressed very simply."

Towards the end of the dinner, Prince Harry was presented with a birthday cake by the restaurant staff. Located in the old town of Dusseldorf, the restaurant's setting added to the overall experience. Harry and his group occupied two tables and were served a variety of dishes, including Weiner Schnitzel, pork knuckles, sausage, and plates of roast and mashed potatoes.

Interestingly, Meghan seemed to focus primarily on the salad and didn't consume much of the protein dishes ordered, eventually leaving some food unfinished. Notably, it was Prince Harry who covered the bill and left a substantial tip for the staff. In terms of tipping in Germany, anything above the usual amount would be considered a generous tip.

The article also touches upon Meghan Markle's intentions regarding her life in the UK and her relationship with the royal family. According to royal author Tom Bauer, Meghan had never intended to fully embrace the life of royalty in England; she always planned to return to California. He noted that Meghan and Harry had created their own brand, which had brought them success, but questioned how long they could sustain it.

In summary, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's visit to a restaurant in Dusseldorf provided an interesting glimpse into their casual dining experience, the staff's reactions, and the ongoing discussion surrounding their individual brands and future plans.
