Netflix CEO Slams Meghan Markle's Low-Handed Deal: 'She Forgives Thomas' - A Joke!

Netflix CEO Slams Meghan Markle's Low-Handed Deal: 'She Forgives Thomas' - A Joke!

Reportedly, Netflix CEO Greg Peters took the surprising step of removing Meghan Markle from the Netflix office following an offer that involved a scene featuring her father, Thomas Markle. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle had struck a lucrative deal with Netflix when they relocated to the United States and stepped back from their roles as working members of the royal family in 2020. However, there is growing speculation that this deal may be in jeopardy.

The uncertainty surrounding the Netflix deal is partly linked to the upcoming release of season six of the popular show "The Crown" later this year. It is believed that public interest in the younger generation of Royals, including Harry and Meghan, may diminish as the show progresses.

While the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have achieved some successes with Netflix, such as Harry's "Heart of Invictus," which has struggled to gain viewership, and Meghan's animated series "Pearl," which was pulled due to budget cuts, there are concerns about the future of their content on the platform.

Despite reportedly having two more years left on their Netflix contract, Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams suggests it could end sooner. Fitzwilliams noted that Meghan recently met with Netflix's CEO, Greg Peters, in an effort to salvage the contract that was reportedly on the brink of termination.

Meghan's proposal for a fabricated reconciliation with Thomas Markle as a plot for a new movie seems to have been met with skepticism by Netflix's leadership, who may be looking for more innovative and contemporary content ideas rather than revisiting old family disputes.

Fitzwilliams believes that Meghan could potentially benefit from creating a positive narrative involving her father, Thomas, while keeping him under control through financial support and limited access to her children.

This approach could help her manage the narrative, control her public image, and prevent her father from creating unfavorable publicity. However, it appears that Thomas Markle is interested in a genuine private meeting without cameras, rather than participating in a staged Netflix reunion.

Lady C, a source mentioned in the paragraph, claimed that she was allegedly contacted by one of Harry's friends on Meghan's behalf. According to Lady C, Meghan suggested that she distanced herself from her father because she claimed he had harassed her. This purported story was used to justify her decision to cut ties with him but has since been met with skepticism.

Additionally, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have faced criticism for having no relationship with the royal family or with Meghan's father, Thomas Markle. Sharon Osbourne, during a discussion with Piers Morgan on Sky News Australia, expressed her concern, saying, "It is terribly sad. They're fine, but their children don't have any family. No grandparents, no aunts, no uncles, no cousins—there's nothing. Their babies have their mum and dad; they know nothing of their heritage."

This discussion follows Thomas Markle's public statement criticizing Meghan and Prince Harry for not allowing him to meet his grandkids. He expressed his desire to reconcile, stating, "Put the past behind us; let me see my grandkids." In the state of California, he even mentioned the possibility of legal action to see them but expressed his reluctance to take that step.
