Prince Harry and Meghan have faced allegations of prioritizing self-promotion over the actual races and veterans during the Invictus Games. Additionally, their visits to various charitable causes in Dusseldorf have been labeled as insincere and "false."
Bower also pointed out that the royal family notably refrained from publicly acknowledging the Duke of Sussex's 39th birthday on social media. According to him, this could signal a shift towards ignoring the actions of the couple, which he views as a positive development.
Prince Harry and Meghan have been estranged from the rest of the royal family since relocating to Los Angeles, where they have made various claims against the royal family, including allegations of racism and physical assault by Prince William. Efforts at reconciliation between the brothers have been conspicuously absent.
Despite both Harry and William being in London and the United States, respectively, for separate engagements in recent weeks, they managed to avoid each other. Bower suggested that this avoidance reflects a growing isolation of the Duke of Sussex from the rest of the family.
Regarding the birthday snub, Bower remarked on GB News, "It suggests that they finally seen reason. Finally, after all this time, they are going to ostracise and forget Harry and Megan completely." He also criticized the media for not sufficiently scrutinizing the Sussexes' use of the Invictus Games for self-promotion.
Bower continued, "The syrupy stuff of her visiting the German homeless in Dusseldorf and then going back to her mansion in Montecito is everything is so confection, everything is so false. And what's marvellous is that finally, finally, the Royal family have realised, seen the light and decided to ignore them completely and ostracise them."
In another development, Prince Harry reportedly faced a snub from royal officials when he requested a room at Windsor Castle earlier this month. He was informed that proper notice must be given for accommodations on a royal estate. While he had hoped to meet with King Charles during his visit, the short duration of his stay in the UK made such a meeting unfeasible. Consequently, Harry had to opt for a hotel stay, although he was permitted to visit St George’s Chapel, Windsor, the resting place of his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II. Harry's lack of a permanent residence in Britain, following his eviction from Frogmore Cottage when he moved to the United States, added to the logistical challenges of his visit.
