During an interview with Piers Morgan on Sky News Australia, comedian Tim Dillon humorously commented on the situation. He pointed out the irony of making a three-part documentary on Netflix about their hardships while living in what could only be described as a castle. He quipped, "I find the lack of self-awareness there to be very amusing; I mean, they're quite the comedians."
Tim further suggested that the couple's portrayal of victimhood was far from genuine and bordered on being laughable. He noted that their behavior had effectively resurrected reality television, which he believed had waned in popularity.
He added, "Claiming victimhood, it just makes me chuckle, especially when someone is clearly not a victim – and I think living in a castle and being part of a royal family would disqualify you from that status. They provide endless entertainment, and I hope they continue to act in a way that keeps the tabloids and us amused."
