According to PR expert Ed Coram James, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have historically found success in their individual careers, often when they were not closely associated with each other.
Coram James suggested that Prince Harry should consider revisiting his 'bachelor days,' during which he made solo appearances and pursued his own philanthropic endeavors.
The idea behind this advice is to allow Harry to present himself in a similar light to when he was enjoying high approval ratings. Coram James remarked, "By distancing himself from Meghan in public appearances, Harry gives himself the opportunity to be perceived as he was during his bachelor days when his popularity soared."
The same counsel was extended to Meghan, with the expert noting her positive reputation as a successful actress before she became a member of the royal family. Coram James stated, "This advice also applies to the duchess. Her public image in the United States is intertwined with her partnership with Harry. Prior to their relationship, she was a accomplished television actor with a strong professional reputation, though not yet a household name."
He concluded, "By establishing her individual identity apart from her connection to Harry, she can return to being recognized as the hardworking and successful actor she was prior to her marriage to the Duke.
