Critiquing Meghan's actions, James remarked, "The Duchess of Sussex can choose any of the 365 days of the year to focus on parenting." He pointed out that Meghan's schedule is indeed demanding, often requiring her to step away from family life temporarily to fulfill her various commitments.
However, he emphasized that key events in Harry's life, such as his father's Coronation and the launch of his professional endeavor, the Invictus Games, have seen Meghan's absence, giving the impression of prioritizing parenting over her husband's significant milestones.
James argued that Meghan's choices have leaned toward attending "seemingly less personally significant events this year," creating a discord between her actions and the reality of her relationship with Harry.
To dispel rumors of a personal rift with her husband and to enhance her public image, James suggested that Meghan should be seen participating in events that hold importance for Harry. He stressed that although appearances may not always reflect the true dynamics of their relationship, attention to the optics could be beneficial.
Despite the potential for appearances to be "deceiving," James expressed concern that Meghan's decision to snub Prince Harry might hinder her efforts to establish herself as a prominent public figure in the long run.
