The trademark application review process encountered multiple issues, with a USPTO examiner noting various errors and problems, including the extensive and vague nature of the submitted plan. The list of goods and services for nonprofit organizations was deemed too unclear for proper classification, and the website's content related to charitable activities, donations, and volunteer opportunities required clarification.

Megan and Harry must make necessary amendments to their application and provide additional fees to proceed. Failure to do so by the specified deadline, August 22nd, may result in the application's abandonment.

Moreover, Meghan and Harry face public scrutiny as a leaked tax filing for 2021 showed that their R2 foundation allocated less than 25% of its income to charity work. The foundation received a total income of $13 million in 2021, primarily from two substantial donations, and their personal involvement in charity activities was reportedly limited to roughly an hour per week.
