Meghan Markle Furious as Prince Harry Sits Next to Hanbury, Unveiling Truth about William & Rose Affair

Did Meghan Markle seem a little envious of Prince Harry sitting close to Rose Hanbury at the 2017 State dinner? Is it possible that someone's anger sparked the rumours about Prince William and Rose Hanbury's purported romance? It's quite likely.

Someone explored the ridiculousness of the claims of Rose Hanbury and Prince William's purported affair in a thread with almost 15,000 comments. The topic of conversation was the July 12, 2017, Spanish state supper. Prince William and Catherine, who had lately started their full-time royal duties, were among the senior Royals in attendance. Prince Harry was sitting next to Rose CH Mundy, the Marchioness of CH Mundy.

Tabloids and gossip magazines incorrectly claimed that Catherine was interested in setting up Rose Hanbury with Prince Harry. However, there's a significant problem with this narrative. Rose was happily married to David Rocksavage, with whom she had three children – a girl named Iris CH Mundy and twin sons named Alexander and Oliver CH Mundy. At this point, Megan Markle was vocally asserting her relationship with Harry, sharing details of their time together, like allegedly cooking for him. It's essential to remember that she openly expressed her love for him.

This brings us to the misleading headlines. Did Meghan Markle see the false headlines in the tabloids, praising Rose Hanbury's appearance and suggesting she would be an ideal wife for Harry? Most likely, yes. After all, the tabloids claimed that Catherine was trying to pair up Rose and Harry, and that Harry and Rose were flirting, all of which never happened.

During the State Dinner, Prince Harry engaged in a conversation with the Marchioness of CH Mundy, and that was the extent of it. Rose didn't include Prince Harry in any circle, as he was merely the brother of William and the brother-in-law of Catherine.

There's more to this story. Another commenter in the thread, Canelex Citadel, pointed out that reports of rivalry began surfacing after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding in May 2018. This was also a turning point in the dynamics among the Royals, with rumors of tensions between Meghan and Catherine, as well as William and Harry. The Sun published articles about the alleged rivalry between Catherine and Rose in April 2019, and soon a pattern of such sources emerged.

The reality is that the Marchioness of CH Mundy and the future Queen never had a falling out or rivalry. William didn't prize Rose's children, and David Rocksavage has known William for most of his life, having worked for the Queen when William was about eight. Catherine didn't meet the CH Mundys until 2009 when Rose and David were married and expecting their sons.

It's entirely possible that Meghan didn't like the narrative being perpetuated in the tabloids, even though it was entirely unfounded. Katherine would never break up a marriage, and all the sensational stories about Meghan not reading tabloids are probably far from the truth. She might have wanted to portray Catherine in a negative light by having Charles Corrin tweet about an affair that everyone knows never took place.
