Meghan Markle in Despair as Furious King Charles Makes Final Move to Eradicate Sussexes from Hollywood

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have recently received a stern warning regarding their use of Royal connections to gain favor within the Hollywood elite circle. This caution comes more than three years after the Sussexes stepped down from their roles as working Royals and relocated to the United States. Since settling into their Montecito Mansion, the couple wasted no time in establishing relationships with A-list celebrities and attending glamorous galas.

However, their attempts to shed light on the inner workings of Royal life through various media ventures have not been well-received by the public. A significant majority of people have called for King Charles to strip them of their Royal titles. According to Tom Quinn, the author of "Gilded Youth: An Intimate History of Growing Up in the Royal Family," Harry's family is also not pleased with the current arrangement.

Quinn explains that both King Charles and Prince William adhere to the late Queen's strong belief that one cannot be a part-time Royal. You can't spend six months hobnobbing with celebrities in America and then return to the UK, picking and choosing which royal events to participate in. Such an arrangement is considered untenable by Charles and William because Queen Elizabeth herself disliked the idea.

Queen Elizabeth devoted her entire life to the monarchy, and her remarkable 70-year reign endeared her to the nation. While the Sussexes initially garnered support from many Americans who sympathized with their situation, public opinion seemed to shift after Harry's tell-all memoir, "Spare." Their popularity in the United States took a hit following the book's release in January 2023.

In a poll conducted by Redfield and Wilton for Newsweek, a majority of respondents felt that Harry and Meghan should be stripped of their titles. Only 26 percent were in favor of maintaining their current status, while 28 percent were unsure about whether the King should take steps to remove their titles.

Under the current rules, King Charles III would need to propose new legislation in Parliament requesting the removal of their titles. This proposal would need to pass through all stages of the parliamentary process before receiving his approval. There are currently no indications that Harry and Meghan are willing to voluntarily relinquish their Royal titles. In fact, they announced in June that their children would now be referred to as Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
