Morton remarked, "It seems that Meghan never truly embraced the customs and traditions of the royal family. She seemed unaware that she was expected to curtsy to the queen in private. It's no secret that there has been tension between Kate and Meghan, and Meghan has chosen to carve out her own path on the West Coast."
The royal author went on to explain that Meghan has since put the royal family behind her as she concentrates on establishing her life in California. He stated, "Meghan is creating her own life on the West Coast, and the royal family is now a distant part of her past. She has moved on."
Furthermore, Morton hinted at Meghan's plans for the future, saying, "From what I understand, Meghan is gearing up to launch an updated version of her lifestyle website, The Tig. It seems that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have found their own paths and have worked things out. With each passing day, they become more entrenched in their new life in California."
