Meghan Markle Upset as Dior Designer Compares Her Look to Kate's: Class vs. Trash

Meghan Markle Upset as Dior Designer Compares Her Look to Kate's: Class vs. Trash

Meghan Markle was left shocked and upset when a Dior designer compared her look to that of Kate's, framing it as a juxtaposition of "Class vs. Trash." This comparison came as a humiliation for Meghan, as the Dior designer praised Kate's style while seemingly demeaning Meghan's fashion choices.

Dior made headlines recently as they opened Paris Fashion Week with a feminist statement displayed on the catwalk. The slogan on the video screen read, "When I say no, look away. When I say no," emphasizing consent and boundaries.

The models who followed on the runway showcased diverse styles, from a baggy black coat paired with a classic necklace and black shoes to a pristine unbuttoned shirt with cuffs and tail. Notably, one model carried a shiny Locos handbag with the word "capitalism" written on it, making a statement about societal values and ambitions.

The spotlight is on women throughout Paris Fashion Week, which features a total of 67 shows spanning eight days. Notably, Sarah Burton will present her final collection with Alexander McQueen on Saturday, marking the end of her 13-year tenure as the brand's creative director. When asked about the ideal role model representing the power of feminism, Burton unequivocally pointed to Princess Catherine of Wales.

She praised Kate Middleton for her multifaceted qualities, highlighting her as an exemplary mother, a fashion icon who repeats brilliant outfits, and a relatable figure for regular women who may feel pressured to constantly change their appearance. Kate Middleton's long-standing relationship with Sarah Burton's Alexander McQueen brand has seen her don their dresses and coats for various Royal engagements.

In the midst of these fashion discussions, Meghan Markle found herself excluded from Paris Fashion Week, despite earlier media reports suggesting a significant collaboration between her and the French fashion house, Dior. However, a Dior spokesperson in Paris denied any recent contacts or negotiations with Meghan, dispelling the rumors.

Meanwhile, Prince William and Kate Middleton have adopted a new social media strategy. In their latest post on what was formerly known as Twitter, the Prince and Princess of Wales shared a thread summarizing their September events. The post, titled "Welcome to September Rewind with the Prince and Princess of Wales," features public appearances by the royal couple during the month, offering a glimpse into their activities.
