Prince Harry Disheartened: Meghan Markle Uses £17K for One-Day Clothing Spree in NY After Selling Ring for Cash

Prince Harry was disheartened, just like me, when he decided to spend his £17,000 on a single day of shopping in New York City. This splurge came after he had already used a portion of his funds from selling a ring, and Prince Harry appeared frustrated and irate with his wife, Meghan Markle, for seemingly monopolizing their time during their visit to the city.

According to body language expert Darren Stanton, it was evident that Harry exhibited two contrasting sides during their public appearances. When he was by himself, he seemed remarkably relaxed, with his shoulders down and a frequent smile. Speaking to the press solo, he appeared passionate and authentic, receiving warm applause.

However, when Meghan joined him, there was a noticeable shift in his demeanor. In photos from their New York conference, Meghan was seen beaming with a big smile, while Harry seemed as though someone had stolen his joy. His furrowed brows, conveying frustration and anger, made it clear that something was amiss. It seemed as though he found it frustrating to share the spotlight, even with his wife.

The frustration with Meghan was not limited to their time in New York. She had sold her wedding ring, which held sentimental value due to Diana's stone, and had used the money, along with Harry's inheritance, to finance her extravagant clothing expenses during the New York event. Meghan sported two different looks that added up to over £17,000. To start the day, she wore a jacket with black skinny jeans, a 14-karat gold diamond choker necklace worth $3,850, and a Cartier Love bracelet valued at $7,350. She completed the outfit with Jennifer Chamandi Lorenzo 105 pumps retailing at $713.

Later in the day, Meghan donned a sophisticated ivory suit, featuring the sold-out Alazur Wedding Off-the-Shoulder Wool Blazer, priced at $987, and the matching Alazur Bendix's Wide Wool Pants, which cost $995. Her shoes were from her favorite brand, Aaza, specifically the Purest 105 pumps in nude leather, amounting to $825. However, the most extravagant part of her outfit was her jewelry, valued at around $6,000.

Currently, it seems the Sussexes are surviving on loans, potentially secured using Harry's inheritance money, if any is left. Their engagement ring, in particular, holds no sentimental value for Meghan, even though it was highly sentimental for Harry. While their accomplishments in Hollywood, including contracts with Spotify, Netflix, and Penguin, were initially lucrative, it appears that most of those funds have been depleted. The actual contract terms were shorter than expected, with Netflix still holding half of the contract amount. Additionally, Harry's book deal, which includes four books, may not be enough to sustain their lavish lifestyle, estimated to cost between 12 to 15 million dollars annually.

Megan generates income from merchandise sales, while Harry receives earnings from investments in companies like Travist and BetterUp, although these sources of income do not come close to covering their financial needs.
