According to royal author Clive Irving, the brothers are amicable even though there have been rumors that they can't abide each other's company. "I suspect it's nothing like [Harry and William's relationship] as bad as it is often portrayed," he said to Daily Express US. However, Diana is the link there. She still seems to loom large over this entire rift."
Irving states that "William is trying to be both," and that "there's still a clear gulf between the Windsors and the Spencers, and Harry is without a doubt a Spencer." He's attempting to be both a Spencer and a Windsor, and he's succeeding greatly at being the former but not the latter.
This comes after specialist Jennie Bond disclosed that Prince Harry is considerably more like the 'Spencer' gene he inherited from Princess Diana.
"I believe Harry is very much the Spencer of the two of them," Ms. Bond remarked.
"William is the Windsor," the woman continued. Ms Bond went on to say: "Harry is fiery, he is impetuous, he is vulnerable, he is fragile, very much in the way Diana was."
