Jason Wu and Givenchy Blacklist Meghan Markle Following Michelle Obama's On-Air Truth Bombs

After Michelle Obama revealed things in an on-air interview, Jason Wu and Givenchy allegedly put Meghan Markle on their blacklist. It's no secret that Michelle and Barack Obama have served as major sources of inspiration for Meghan and Harry. Even though it might seem like a small detail, this gives an already complicated plot a further level of depth.

Whether it's a bright yellow sleeveless dress or a burgundy suit, Meghan has often been spotted wearing like Michelle. But a subsequent disclosure from a source has thrown this story into a completely other league and made it seem like a blind item.

Givenchy and Jason Wu's decision to break from Meghan Markle seems to have sprung from a wish to stand with Michelle Obama while maintaining a clear separation from Harry and Meghan, who are perceived as having lost credibility in some quarters. With this calculated action, they hope to rebuild their reputation and develop new connections inside the entertainment business.

Despite having just joined the exclusive talent agency WME, Meghan Markle appears to be having trouble landing business deals. This is especially true in the wake of her and Harry's highly publicized Oprah interview, in which they publicly expressed their dissatisfaction with the royal family and damaged Markle's reputation.

But there's a fascinating backstory to this development. Tom Bower claims that when Michelle Obama visited London in 2018 for the book's publication, she became irritated with Meghan Markle's invasion of her privacy. Even after they went public with their criticisms, Michelle had cautioned Meghan not to rush into commitments and made it known that the people Meghan and Harry serve in the public view are the real targets of their grievances.

Michelle seemed concerned about Megan's behavior, and she openly offered counsel. The guidance mentioned here originates from a 2018 Good Housekeeping interview wherein Michelle was questioned about her suggestions for Meghan, the newest member of the royal family. She cautioned Meghan against rushing into things and to take her time, pointing her that although the pressure sometimes feel unbearable, there was a lot of potential for the platform to succeed.

Michelle quietly emphasized her personal dedication on service after Meghan and Harry's contentious interview with Oprah in 2021. This was largely interpreted as a subtle jab at the Sussexes.

Meghan was hilariously shown as being obsessed with Michelle Obama in an earlier episode of South Park this year. In the episode, Meghan and Harry were shown employing a brand management company to revamp their PR. With interests ranging from yoga, calligraphy, cooking, and writing to lifestyle, acting, blogging, feminism, and even feigning to be a lawyer and disturbing the former First Lady, Meghan's profile was wryly described as that of a sorority girl, actress, influencer, and victim.

Numerous reports of Harry's close friendship with former US President Barack Obama have hinted that the two couples became closer after Harry married Meghan.
