However, the day after King Charles's birthday, the first extracts from Omid Scobie's bombshell royal book, "Endgame," were released. These extracts included claims such as Prince William ignoring his brother on the day Queen Elizabeth's second died and Harry being left to fend for himself by the royal family.
Notably, Scobie previously wrote the biography "Finding Freedom" about Meghan Markle and Prince Harry. While the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have denied any links to the royal author, sources close to the couple admitted that they had nothing to do with "Endgame." It's worth mentioning that in 2021, Meghan apologized in court for failing to remember authorizing a senior aide to brief Scobie and his co-author, Carolyn Durand, when they were working on "Finding Freedom."
Meghan's statement at the time acknowledged that the information had been shared with her knowledge. She stated, "I had absolutely no wish or intention to mislead the defendant or the court." In response to claims that Meghan and Harry were involved in his latest book, Scobie posted on social media, clarifying, "It's not Harry and Meghan's book. I'm not Meg's pal. The Sussexes have nothing to do with it."
The release of initial book extracts has reportedly raised concerns within the senior ranks of the Royal Family. A royal source indicated that William and Kate appear to be Scobie's primary focus, and the extracts have stirred up old wounds within the royal family.
