Prince Harry Sparks Outrage for Stealing Puck Drop at Autism Event

Upon the revelation of the sudden termination of two high-ranking officials at Invictus Canada 2025 last week, speculations were already circulating regarding the financial difficulties surrounding the event.   Initially, it was widely presumed that these executives were terminated as a result of financial mismanagement.   Nevertheless, what ensued was an extensive and well-coordinated public relations effort allegedly directed by the Harkles, a mere five days after the terminations.  It would have been more prudent to make personnel changes for Invictus after the event, considering the organization's best interests.   Except if these executives were impeding the event as a result of financial considerations.

It is quite remarkable that the terminations occurred exactly at the same time as the commencement of this comprehensive public relations campaign.   The visit may have been canceled if the CEO and CKO had not been removed, particularly given that Harry had scheduled commitments unrelated to Invictus.  The sixth annual Autism Acceptance Night was presented by the Vancouver KX and KX Autism Network at Rogers Arena on November 20, 2023, during the Canucks versus San Jose Sharks game.  The objective of the game was to commemorate inclusivity and tolerance, while showcasing the perspectives of individuals from the autism community.   CCK Sport and Entertainment wholeheartedly endorsed this cause, which holds significant importance within their community.

Michael Doyle, the president of CCK Sport and Entertainment Business Operations, highlighted that KX has consistently offered transformative programs for individuals with autism and their families, while actively promoting inclusivity in their community through training and engagement initiatives.

The primary objective of the Canucks' game was to promote autism acceptance. However, unfortunately, the media's preoccupation with Harry and Meghan appeared to divert attention away from this purpose.   This prompts a relevant inquiry: Did Harry seize the opportunity to initiate the puck drop ceremony from an autistic child?

The purpose was to have an individual with autism symbolize their community by participating in the puck drop ritual.   Nevertheless, it seems that Harry and Meghan were the main focus.   Supposedly, Harry was requested to execute the puck drop due to his longstanding affiliation with the event.   Although he had the option to join the child on the ice and show his enthusiasm and support, he choose not to do so.

However, the Harkles appeared to dominate the event that was intended to celebrate autism acceptance, as well as the disclosure of a generous $2.2 million contribution towards children's autism programs.   According to reports, Harry and Meghan were present at the occasion but did not provide any financial contributions to these projects.

In addition, it was Autism Awareness Day, and a singer with autism performed the national anthem.  With the exception of Meghan, who displayed a persistent fixation on Harry, frequently turning her head to smile at him despite his apparent indifference, everyone else demonstrated their respect by gazing forward.

This occurrence prompts inquiries as to why esteemed benefactors, such as Michelle Amal, exhibit hesitancy in aligning themselves with Invictus.   The group appears to have gained greater recognition for trivial factors, such as clothing preferences, rather than its initial objective of honoring remarkable sports accomplishments.
