Taryn Toomey Accidentally Outs Meghan Markle as the Mastermind Behind Sussex Instagram Account

Meghan Markle appears to be cultivating friends who appear briefly in the public eye. Tyin Tumi is one such individual in question. She was a fitness influencer at Megan's 2019 baby shower in New York City, according to the Daily Mail. Unseen images at this enchanted baby shower show Megan surrounded by her close-knit circle of pals, who included co-actress Abigail Spencer from "Suits" and tennis icon Serena Williams.

Megan celebrated the impending birth of her firstborn son with Prince Harry by flying to the Big Apple via private jet in 2019. Approximately 20 friends joined in on the five-day celebration held in one of the most luxurious suites at the Mark Hotel in Manhattan. The fourth episode of "Harry and Megan: The Docu-Series" featured several pictures capturing moments with these friends. The group photo showcases familiar faces such as university friend Lindsay Roth, makeup artist Daniel Martin, and hair stylist Serge Norman, among others.

In these snaps, Megan appeared to be in high spirits, alongside friends like fashion designer Misha Nonoo, fitness guru Tyin Tumi, Marcus Anderson, and publicist Seline Karani. It's worth noting that guests at the event included Amal Clooney and former best friend Jessica Mulroney, but they weren't part of this particular picture.

However, there is more to the story when it comes to Tyin Tumi. According to The Sun, in May 2019, Prince Harry and Megan were under scrutiny for promoting Tumi's fitness class on their Sussex Royal Instagram account, which boasted over 7 million followers at the time. Tyin Tumi is the CEO and founder of Wellam Workout, and the link on her profile led visitors to book a pricey retreat on the exclusive Caribbean island of Mystique. These actions raised concerns because the Sussex Royal account was intended to promote charity work, not their friends' businesses.

Penny Junor, a prominent author and broadcaster specializing in Royal biographies, expressed her disapproval, noting that the royal family needs to maintain an impeccable reputation. She argued that the endorsement of commercial organizations is a mistake, emphasizing that they should stick to promoting charities.

Tyin Tumi's business endeavors extend beyond fitness, as her website also offers jewelry and beauty products, including a $270 anti-aging cream. Furthermore, it's worth mentioning that Tumi is married to a financial expert and previously owned a multi-million dollar apartment in Manhattan, which was sold in 2017.

The episode surrounding Tyin Tumi's promotion by Harry and Megan sheds light on the complexities of the Sussex Royal account and the expectations placed on the royal family concerning their affiliations and endorsements.
