Tom Ford Takes a Stand by Excluding Meghan Markle from GQ 2023 Party: 'You Don't Belong Here

Bolton the GQ Man of the Year Awards, presented in collaboration with Hugo Boss, are scheduled to return with a bang on Wednesday, November 15, 2023, in London. Renowned guests like Amy Schumer, Cara Delevingne, Jay-Z, Madonna, and Kanye West have attended previous awards ceremonies.  It's worth noting that Meghan already shares a close relationship with GQ due to her friendship with Vogue's Editor-in-Chief, who has ties to Condé Nast.

Traditionally, the GQ Men of the Year Awards have primarily focused on men, but women have been honored in specific categories such as Heroes of the Year and Game Changer of the Year. However, it's important to mention that the GQ nominees were announced recently, and Meghan Markle's name was conspicuously absent from the list. Some are speculating that Megan's PR moves may not be enough to secure recognition in the UK.

Though Megan Markle withdrew from the GQ Men of the Year Awards in the UK, a source in a blind item revealed that she was attempting to purchase tickets to attend GQ's annual Men of the Year party in Los Angeles. However, this plan was apparently thwarted by the Kardashians.

According to GQ Magazine, Jacob Lordi, Kim Kardashian, Travis Scott, and Tom Ford are set to host GQ's 2023 Men of the Year party in Los Angeles on November 16th. This event will follow the one in London and will celebrate the magazine's 28th Modis issue. It will gather influential figures from the worlds of fashion, entertainment, and sports in Los Angeles.

Kim Kardashian expressed mixed feelings about hosting the party, saying, "I love a party, though I actually hate hosting one. Thank God I have some co-hosts." In other words, GQ's 2023 Men of the Year party offers an excellent opportunity for Lordi, Scott, Kardashian, and Ford to make a grand joint appearance.

Rumors have surfaced that Kim Kardashian and Tom Ford are not keen on Meghan Markle attending the event, fearing her presence may disrupt their party with her publicity tactics. Despite being uninvited, Meghan may attempt to gatecrash the event by purchasing a ticket. 

The ticket prices vary, with the basic option costing £4,999 plus VAT per person, the red carpet experience at £5,999 plus VAT per person, and a particularly lavish red carpet experience with paparazzi priced at £11,999 plus VAT. This suggests that if Meghan were to buy a ticket, she might bring paparazzi along to capture her moment, even though the A-listers may choose to ignore her.
