Bishop of Hereford Delivers Scathing Roast of Meghan Markle in BBC Documentary: Accusations of Deception

In a BBC documentary, the Bishop of Hereford didn't hold back as he criticized Meghan Markle, dubbing her as "Megan the liar." Meghan's previous assertion that the Royals were not "huggers" has seemingly been contradicted by recent photos. Meghan had made this claim during the Harry and Meghan documentary series in December 2022, while discussing her first meeting with Prince William and Princess Kate. She mentioned that hugging was perceived as jarring for many Brits. However, festive images of the Royal Family at Sandringham appeared to challenge her assertion.

One photo showed Prince George being warmly hugged by Mike Tindall, a former World Cup-winning England rugby player married to Zara, Queen Elizabeth II's granddaughter via Princess Anne. This image gained significant attention on Twitter, with over 3,000 likes and 118,000 views, prompting a resurgence of Meghan's comments. Meghan's statement, "I was a hugger, I've always been a hugger," from the Netflix series was cited alongside the photo. She explained that she initially didn't realize hugging could be considered jarring for many Brits due to the formality they maintain.

During a documentary about King Charles III's coronation, Bishop Richard Jackson of Hereford portrayed a slightly different image of the Royals. He expressed his surprise at how affectionate the family was, emphasizing their closeness and the sense of being part of a family occasion. In contrast, Megan's claim about the Royals not being huggers appeared to be challenged by these observations.

The documentary also highlighted King Charles's warm interactions with Prince William and Princess Kate, which included embraces and courtesies. This contrasted with Megan's narrative about the Royals' reserved behavior.

It's evident that the relationship between Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, and Prince William and Princess Kate remains strained, with no signs of reconciliation. The focus has shifted to moving forward, especially for Kate, who is described as being very focused on what matters going forward, without dwelling on the past. The article suggests that while Harry and Meghan have made various revelations and public appearances, they might be struggling to adapt to a more conventional way of life.
