Close Friend Laments Prince Harry's Lost 'Jovial' Nature Pre-Meghan Markle Marriage

Prince Harry's close pal confessed that he missed his friend, who he said had changed after dating Meghan Markle. A friend of the Duke of Sussex claims that after Prince Harry married Meghan Markle, his behavior worsened. Former football player James Haskell claims, as reported by OK!, that the once-jovial Duke of Sussex turned more and more into a hermit after realizing how poorly treated he had been by his family—a fact that became even more evident when he married Meghan.

"Prince Harry is the one who ought to be there, strolling about and enjoying himself. He remembered that he was still quite fun since he hadn't met Meghan yet. "Everybody's entitled to an opportunity to say what they want, and when someone feels like they and their partner have been oppressed, lied about, contradicted, and put into a corner."  Despite this, Haskell insisted that he and the Duke of Sussex remained close but things have since never been the same.

“I think it's very important. I ended up inadvertently being a big defender of his recently. I speak to him every night every now and again. We're just sort of comparing notes about kids always being ill," the former rugby player said then. "Everybody's entitled to an opportunity to say what they want, and when someone feels like they and their partner have been oppressed, lied about, contradicted, and put into a corner."

Despite this, Haskell maintained that he and the Duke of Sussex remained friends, but things have never been the same since.  "I believe it is critical. Inadvertently, I recently became a staunch supporter of his. I talk to him every now and then at night. "We're just comparing notes about kids being sick all the time," the former rugby star explained.
