Gypsy Rose Blanchard Declines Meghan Markle's Podcast Interview Invitation Following 8-Year Prison Release

Gypsy Rose Blanchard, the woman who was recently released from an 8-year prison sentence for the murder of her abusive mother, has declined an invitation from Meghan Markle to appear on her Spotify podcast, "Archetypes." Blanchard, who was a victim of Munchausen syndrome by proxy, a psychological disorder where a caregiver makes someone ill or creates the illusion of illness for attention, expressed her reasons for turning down Markle's offer. She accused Markle of being a hypocrite and a manipulator, stating that she did not want to associate with her.

In an email obtained by TMZ, Blanchard politely declined the invitation, saying, "I appreciate the offer, but I have to decline." She continued by expressing her desire to distance herself from any negative affiliations, especially with Meghan Markle. Blanchard emphasized her pursuit of positivity and her reluctance to view Markle as a role model.

Blanchard criticized Markle for claiming to be a feminist while allegedly tearing down other women, particularly the royal family, who had welcomed her with open arms. She also accused Markle of portraying herself as a victim of racism and bullying while allegedly engaging in bullying behavior herself, such as making staff members cry and driving away her brother-in-law and sister-in-law. Additionally, Blanchard questioned Markle's commitment to mental health, suggesting that she had exploited her struggles for sympathy and attention while ignoring the suffering of others.

Blanchard expressed her disapproval of Markle's podcast, describing it as a means of imposing her views and agenda on listeners. She asserted her desire not to be part of what she perceived as Markle's propaganda and emphasized her focus on rebuilding her life and helping other survivors of abuse.

Blanchard conveyed the values she had learned from her experiences, including gratitude, humility, and honesty. She emphasized that she aimed to share these values with the world, contrasting them with what she believed Markle represented. While Markle has not publicly responded to Blanchard's email, sources close to her expressed shock and hurt over the rejection, stating that Markle had reached out to Blanchard with compassion and a desire to give her a platform to share her story and inspire others through her podcast, "Archetypes."
