It seems that a helping hand has emerged from Northamptonshire in the form of Harry's Uncle, Earl Charles Spencer. He has generously extended an invitation to the Sussexes to use the family's ancestral home, Althorp, as a base in the UK. According to sources, Charles Spencer's primary concern was to see his niece and nephews, especially the children. Additionally, he wanted to discuss the state of affairs concerning the Spencer estate. "He feels for Harry, not having a home base in the country of his and Archie's birth," the source explained. "He made it clear there was plenty of room for them at the Manor. The Earl will never take sides, but he won't let either Harry or Prince William stray."
However, Megan's source had a different perspective, suggesting that the Sussexes were running out of options in the US and might have no choice but to return to the UK. The idea of returning to the protective Spencer Wing at Althorp appealed to Harry and even Meghan, who has fond memories of their time at Althorp, including visiting Princess Diana's grave.
Nevertheless, Earl Spencer denied Meghan's statement, casting doubt on his willingness to accommodate Harry. "He can't even be bothered to maintain good relationships with his daughter; how can he care about Harry?" an insider explained. "He couldn't even be bothered to let Diana stay in a cottage or house on one of his properties after her divorce, so there's no way he's going to invite Harry to stay."
According to another source, Charles Spencer is not offering Harry any form of accommodation at Althorp House. "He didn't show up to his daughter's own wedding; he definitely isn't concerned about Harry or his whereabouts," the insider remarked. "Charles didn't allow his own sister, Diana, to live in a manor on his estate because he didn't want her in a media frenzy prowling Spencer Manor. He also knows that Meghan is a Diana wannabe, a cosplay actress, and would never let her live on his property."
The source continued to suggest that Meghan Markle might expect the entire Spencer family to vacate Althorp if she were to visit, fearing that she would search for the Spencer Tiara and valuable trinkets throughout the estate.
This situation unfolds after the ninth Earl Spencer shared a photo of the Christmas tree on display at Althorp House in Northamptonshire on Instagram. In the festive snapshot, the towering tree was adorned with red shiny ornaments and twinkling lights. In his caption, Spencer noted that the tree was grown on the estate and would grace the saloon, the heart of the house, until the Twelfth Night.
Followers of the Earl couldn't help but express admiration for the beautiful Christmas tree in the comments section. One person exclaimed, "My gosh, what a beautiful tree," while another added, "So gorgeous."
