Meghan Markle's and Prince Harry's Festive Christmas Card Omits Archie and Lilibet

Meghan Markle's and Prince Harry's have released their annual Christmas card, but this year, they chose not to include pictures of their children, Archie and Lilibet. In contrast to their 2021 Christmas card, where they introduced Lilibet for the first time, this year's card focuses solely on Prince Harry and Meghan. The card, released on Friday, features a message from the office of Prince Harry & Meghan, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, as well as Archewell Productions and the Archewell Foundation. The message extends warm holiday wishes and expresses gratitude for the support they received in 2023. Additionally, the card includes a highlights reel of Harry and Meghan's memorable moments from the past year.

In contrast, Prince William and Kate Middleton's Christmas card emphasizes their family, featuring a family-oriented picture. The Prince and Princess of Wales, Charles and Camilla, chose a monochrome family photo for their card this year, while King Charles and Queen Camilla opted for a photo from the Coronation. The family photo on William and Kate's card showcases them wearing plain shirts, gathered around a smiling Princess Charlotte seated on a chair. The photograph was taken by Yorkshire-born photographer Josh Shinner, known for his work with celebrities like Florence Pugh, Jodie Comer, and Sam Smith.

Notably, the release of Harry and Meghan's Christmas card coincides with the conclusion of Prince Harry's court case against the Mirror Group Newspapers. He was awarded £140,600 in a phone hacking case against the news group. Following the trial, Harry's lawyer accused TV presenter Piers Morgan of being aware of the illegal activities at Mirror Group Newspapers, stating that the court had determined these activities occurred habitually and systematically over more than a decade, involving principal board directors, senior executives, and editors, including Piers Morgan.
