Meghan Markle's Tearful Reaction as Kate's Christmas CAROL Debut Trailer Outshines Her Netflix Docuseries

Meghan Markle found herself in tears as she watched the trailer for Kate Middleton's Christmas Carol concert, which made its debut on Netflix on December 8th, 2023. The former actress, who has been striving to establish herself in Hollywood through her own Netflix docuseries, was reportedly deeply affected by the comparison drawn between her and the Princess of Wales. Kate Middleton, with her winter white ensemble and innate royal charm, captivated the audience. Meghan tuned in to catch a glimpse of the trailer for "Royal Carols Together at Christmas," where Kate hosted her third annual holiday Carol concert at the iconic West Minster Abbey – the very place where she had tied the knot with Prince William in 2011.

This event was closely associated with Kate's "Shaping Us" campaign, which is dedicated to supporting children during the early years of their lives. The concert featured performances by Westminster Abbey's choir, Adam Lambert, Beverly Knight, Jacob Collier, Freya Ridings, and James Bay. Additionally, there were readings by Prince William and other renowned celebrities. Meghan, watching the trailer from her lavish $14 million mansion in Montecito, California, reportedly couldn't help but feel overwhelmed by a mix of emotions, including jealousy. She saw how Kate effortlessly won over the public and the media with her festive event.

Meghan, who had released her own Netflix docuseries, "Harry and Meghan," in December 2022, had hoped to garner sympathy and admiration from the audience by sharing the intricacies of her journey with Prince Harry, from their courtship to their exit from Royal life. However, the six-part series, directed by Oscar nominee Liz Garbus, received a mixed reception and stirred controversy. Many accused the couple of being self-indulgent, dishonest, and disrespectful to the monarchy.

Meghan was moved to tears after viewing the trailer for Kate's Carol concert because she felt overshadowed and outperformed by Kate, who seemed to have everything Meghan desired – a royal title, a loving husband, adorable children, a devoted fan base, and a thriving career. Meghan felt she had made substantial sacrifices to chase her dreams in Hollywood but had little to show for it. Her docuseries had faltered, her acting opportunities had dwindled, and her popularity had taken a hit. This sense of failure and isolation weighed heavily on her.

Prince Harry tried to console Meghan and reaffirm that their decision to depart from the royal family and settle in the United States was the right one. He pointed out that they had another Netflix project in the pipeline, "Live to Lead," and a docuseries inspired by Nelson Mandela, set to release on New Year's Eve. However, Meghan remained skeptical, feeling that their Netflix deal had been a misstep, causing irreparable rifts with former friends and family.

Currently, Meghan and Harry are facing challenges in their relationship. They both appear unhappy and dissatisfied with their lives, harboring different aspirations and visions for their futures. While Meghan seeks stardom and aims to be a humanitarian, Harry yearns for a more family-oriented and philanthropic path. This divergence is causing them to grow apart and live increasingly separate lives, leading to concerns about the future of their marriage, as one source revealed.
