Additionally, he had requested that the newspaper group's defense be dismissed; however, Judge Matthew Nicklin stated in a written decision that the defense had a good chance of succeeding.
"The Duke of Sussex's claim will now go through its remaining pre-trial phases and, unless resolved in some other way, to a trial at some point in 2024," the court states in the summary of his decision.
