Prince Harry Unveils the Healing Power of 'Psychedelics' in His Journey to Overcome Grief

Prince Harry sought solace in narcotics as a means to cope with the profound grief that enveloped him following the tragic loss of Princess Diana. The Duke of Sussex openly acknowledged his reliance on substances to alleviate his anguish in his autobiographical work, 'Spare.' He articulated, "Cannabis offers a distinct departure from cocaine, in the sense that it profoundly aided me." Prince Harry expounded further, delving into the nuances of his experience, stating, "It functioned as a metaphorical windshield wiper, effectively eliminating the various layers of life's filters that had shrouded my perception. 

This, in turn, brought me a profound sense of relaxation, solace, and a weightlessness that I managed to sustain for an extended duration." He continued, "I initially dabbled in its use recreationally, but soon came to appreciate its therapeutic benefits. It occupies a pivotal role in my personal journey, enabling me to confront and navigate the traumas and tribulations of my past. It has been instrumental in unearthing the buried emotions we often suppress."

Prince Harry, in tandem with his wife Meghan Markle and their son, Prince Archie, made the decision to part ways with the Royal Family in the year 2020. Subsequently, the couple accused the Royal Family of manifesting racial bias toward their son, and they aired their grievances publicly on television. Currently, Harry and Meghan reside in California, where they also celebrated the birth of their daughter, Princess Lilibet.
