Prince Harry's Guilty Advice to Meghan Markle: 'Self-Reflect' to Salvage Relationship with Father

Meghan Markle has revealed that she felt compelled to come forward in an effort to mend her strained relationship with her father, Thomas. Despite the fact that Megan and Thomas haven't had contact since her marriage to Prince Harry, their connection was once quite close.  The state of Megan's relationship with her estranged father, Thomas Markle, is being described as potentially irreparable by a relationship expert. The Duchess of Sussex and her father have unresolved issues that may prove difficult to mend. Thomas Markle, who hasn't seen his daughter since her marriage to Prince Harry, has publicly called for reconciliation.

He found it peculiar that both Harry and Megan remained silent amidst the recent Royal controversy sparked by Omid Scobie's book, "Finding Freedom." The Dutch version of the book singled out two senior members of the royal family as the ones who questioned the skin color of Harry and Megan's son.

Relationship expert Luella Anderson spoke to The Mirror regarding Thomas's recent comments and their impact on his relationship with Megan. She expressed doubts about the possibility of them getting closer. Luella noted that Thomas has spoken about his estranged daughter on numerous occasions, even after his split from Megan, indicating that there are lingering issues between them. If Thomas continues to share personal information without a genuine attempt at reconciliation, it's unlikely that their relationship will mend quickly.

Megan and Harry, who stepped back from their senior Royal roles in 2020, have had their fair share of betrayals and pain in their relationship. Currently, their relationship seems strained. However, this doesn't rule out the possibility of unexpected changes in Megan's communication with her father. Luella explained that rebuilding the relationship would require forgiveness and understanding on Megan's part, but it's unclear if she's ready for that step.

Luella also pointed out that Megan and Harry's behavior in sharing private information and personal stories in a Netflix documentary resembles what Thomas Markle did to the royal family. If Megan takes time to reflect on the similarities in their behavior, it could potentially lead to a breakthrough in their relationship.

However, Luella warned that if Thomas continues to speak to his daughter without acknowledging the hurt he has caused and without showing remorse, the chances of their relationship recovering are slim. Luella Anderson is a relationship expert and the founder of the dating app "So Syn."
