Rachael Harris Amused as Meghan Markle's Suits Reboot Application Gets Turned Down

I used to love "Suits" until Meghan Markle, with her perceived sense of superiority, and her marriage to a prince, tainted the show for me. Despite not having the accolades of an award-winning actress, Rachel Harris, known for her role in the original series, hinted at the possibility of her return for the upcoming reboot. Rachel, an original cast member, portrayed Sheila Sazs, the love interest o

In a recent interview, Rachel mentioned ongoing discussions about the involvement of the original cast in the reboot, stating there have been "little bits of talk about that." When asked about former co-stars like Meghan Markle participating, Rachel, while unable to speak for them directly, conveyed her continued connection with all of them. She expressed her fondness for her former colleagues, saying, "I can't speak for any of them, but I still see them all the time. Sarah Rafferty is a great friend, and Rick Hoffman is so wonderful. I'd kill to work with any of them; they're all great."

In November, it was announced that main cast members Patrick J. Adams, Gabriel Macht, and Sarah Rafferty would reunite for a panel at the 2023 ATX Festival. However, Rachel disclosed that she hadn't received an invitation yet, adding a hopeful note that the reunion would undoubtedly be fantastic.

"Suits" originally ran for eight years from 2011 to 2019 but gained a renewed global audience in 2023 when it became available on Netflix. The show achieved a record-breaking 12 consecutive weeks as the number one series on the Nielsen streaming top 10 chart. During a recent appearance at Variety's Power of Women event on November 16th, Meghan Markle acknowledged the show's success on Netflix, praising the cast and crew. Despite previously expressing disinterest in returning to acting, Meghan seems excited about the prospect.

Rumors swirl that Meghan may not be part of the "Suits" reunion. The show's executive producer, Jean Kleine, did not mention Meghan when discussing factors contributing to the show's resurgence. In a recent interview, Klein expressed surprise and pride in the show's continued popularity on Netflix, attributing it to both the show's quality and the power of the streaming platform. He emphasized that people were sticking with it, and its presence on Netflix had breathed new life into the series.
