In Behar's view, Harry and Meghan's outward attempt to portray happiness concealed deeper feelings of misery and bitterness. She accused the couple of alienating themselves from their family, friends, and their home country, leaving them with nothing but a slew of lawsuits and Netflix deals that, according to her, nobody cares about.
Behar also questioned the authenticity of the message on Harry and Meghan's card, which wished for a joyful holiday season "from our family to yours" and extended greetings on behalf of their teams at the Archewell Foundation, Archewell Audio, and Archewell Productions. She deemed it more corporate memo than a heartfelt greeting, adding that their mention of "teams" seemed to refer only to a roster of lawyers and PR agents.
For Behar, the contrast was clear: Charles and Camilla were the genuine article, demonstrating grace and courage in the face of adversity and dedicating their lives to serving their country and its people. In contrast, she considered Harry and Meghan to be impostors and pretenders who had become a disgrace and a disappointment.
Behar concluded her impassioned segment by challenging Harry and Meghan to appear on "The View" and explain themselves, stating that she would relish the opportunity to confront them face-to-face and expose their alleged deceit.
