Still uncertain about the royal title for our newest feathered friend," Ellen DeGeneres playfully commented on the bird, who had faced bullying from its coop companions.  One of Ellen DeGeneres’ chickens found a new home, and it happens to be with none other than Prince Harry and Meghan Markle! Enduring bullying from fellow coop-mates after a fibula injury, one of DeGeneres’ feathery companions needed a new place to roost Gratefully, her friends Harry and Meghan agreed to welcome the bird into their coop, as the former TV host revealed in an Instagram post on Saturday.

"Sinkie’s leg is healed, but our other chickens continued to pick on her, so she had to find a new home," shared the former Ellen DeGeneres Show host, aged 65, alongside a picture of the black-and-white bird. "Fortunately, our friends Harry and Meghan had space in their coop for one more," she added, humorously noting, "We're still figuring out what her royal title will be." Sinkie is set to become the newest resident of "Archie's Chick Inn," the coop owned by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and their eldest child, 4-year-old Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor.

During a 2021 interview with Oprah Winfrey, Meghan, 42, and Harry, 39, provided a peek into their California home, showcasing the "Chick Inn" coop on their Montecito property. The coop is home to rescued hens from a factory farm, aligning with their "down-to-basics" lifestyle.

"Hi, girls!" Meghan greeted the fowls as she opened the coop door, expressing her love for rescuing animals. In the same interview, Harry shared his appreciation for living in California, highlighting the outdoor space for family walks with Archie and their dogs.

A few months after Lilibet's birth in June 2021, Meghan made a surprise appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
