King Charles Prepared to Honor Queen Elizabeth and Withhold Forgiveness from Prince Harry Amid Ongoing Criticism

Queen Elizabeth continued to cherish Prince Harry until the very end, despite the strain caused by ongoing controversies. A royal author delves into the intricate dynamics between Prince Harry and his late grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, against the backdrop of a naming dispute.  In the past week, discussions around Queen Elizabeth II's sentiments towards Prince Harry have been fueled by claims of her anger over a naming dispute. The late monarch reportedly became upset when Prince Harry and Meghan Markle asserted that she had given authorization for their youngest child's name, Lilibet—a deeply personal moniker rooted in her childhood and one Prince Philip affectionately used.

Despite this naming row, Queen Elizabeth's love for Prince Harry reportedly remained unwavering until her passing. Royal author Robert Hardman, in his new book "Charles III: New King, New Court - The Inside Story," disclosed that the queen reacted with anger upon learning of the newborn's name in June 2021. A source mentioned in the book stated that the late queen was exceptionally upset after discovering the couple's claim of obtaining her permission to use the personal nickname. Despite this, Queen Elizabeth's affection for her grandson endured.

Speaking on the "Right Royal" podcast, Mr. Hardman emphasized the enduring bond between Queen Elizabeth and Prince Harry. He noted that the queen adored Harry until the very end, and Harry reciprocated that affection. While Queen Elizabeth met and loved her great-granddaughter, Lilibet, the real issue seemed to be the aftermath of the naming revelation.

Mr. Hardman highlighted that the concern lay in how the Sussexes handled the situation post the naming of Lilibet. The contention arose from the way Meghan and Harry issued a statement asserting the queen's complete support for the name, even implying that she had given her blessing. Following the announcement, the BBC contradicted this claim, stating that Queen Elizabeth had not granted her blessing for the couple's daughter to bear the name Lilibet.
