Meghan Markle's Outrage as Gabriel Macht Unveils Rosamund Pike as Her Suits Successor

Gabriel Macht, known for his role as Harvey Specter in the hit legal drama 'Suits,' has shared his thoughts on the possibility of Meghan Markle returning to the show. Meghan, who gained fame as an actress before marrying into the British royal family in 2018, played the character Rachel Zane in 'Suits' for seven seasons, concluding in 2018 when she married Prince Harry. At that time, Meghan announced her retirement from acting to focus on her new responsibilities as a working member of the royal family. However, in 2020, Meghan and Harry stepped back from their roles as senior working Royals, relocating to the United States.

As the Sussexes gradually re-enter public life, speculation has arisen about Meghan's potential return to acting, with some even suggesting a reprisal of her role as Rachel Zane. Gabriel Macht, speaking ahead of the Golden Globes, was asked about the possibility of Meghan's return. When questioned about the monetary aspect, Gabriel humorously deflected, stating, 'I think the question is how much money would it take to bring me back to the drama.'

Gabriel, who portrayed Harvey Reginald, a former corporate attorney and husband of Donna Paulson in 'Suits,' not only expressed a lack of enthusiasm for Meghan's return but also hinted at the replacement of the character Rachel Zane by a renowned actress. Many speculations point to Rosamund Pike as the potential replacement.

Interestingly, other 'Suits' cast members seem less keen on addressing Meghan's association with the show. Gina Torres, who played Jessica Pearson, shared her humorous experience of being bombarded with questions about 'Suits' stars at the Golden Globes reunion, emphasizing the lack of plans among the cast for such a reunion.

Furthermore, Meghan Markle was notably absent from the 'Suits' cast reunion at the Golden Globes, raising questions about her potential involvement in a major 'Suits' reboot. Despite this, Patrick J. Adams, who played a key role in the series, was one of the few who spoke positively about Meghan.

The absence of Meghan and Harry from the Golden Globes, coupled with some negative commentary and mocking during the event, has led to speculation about the couple's standing in the entertainment industry. Commentators like Angela Levin highlighted their non-invitation to the awards and suggested it may impact their public image, particularly with regards to their lucrative deal with Netflix, which was also humorously targeted during the ceremony by comedian Joey Took.
