Montecito Hair Salons Ban Meghan Markle with Signs at New Year's Start - 'Not Royal Here!'

As the new year dawned, it seems that the royal waters have been far from calm, with Megan Markle and Prince Harry receiving mixed reviews in a harsh 2023 assessment of the royal family. Esther Kook, a prominent Sky News broadcaster and columnist, recently shared her perspective on the events that unfolded within the royal firm throughout the year. During an interview with Sky News host Caroline derusso, Kook delved into the highlights and low points of 2023.

Kook began by noting that 2023 kicked off with the publication of Prince Harry's memoir, "Spare," which followed closely on the heels of the Netflix documentary and the now-famous Oprah Winfrey interview. In her view, these events were part of a pattern where the Sussexes continually aired grievances and made allegations about their mistreatment by the royal family. She also highlighted the South Park episode that humorously lampooned the couple's international quest for privacy, characterizing the year as a roller coaster ride of emotions. Nonetheless, Kook admitted that covering the comings and goings of the royal family, including the "relegated" Royals of Montesito, had been both an enjoyable and honorable task.

In an unexpected twist towards the year's end, it has come to light that four local hair salons in Montesito have taken a definitive stance against Megan Markle, barring her from entering their establishments. This development appears to be rooted in past incidents, one of which was disclosed by an insider. According to this source, Megan Markle exhibited what was described as "Diva behavior" during a visit to a prestigious salon. Reportedly, she had made a last-minute appointment requesting a complete hair transformation, including changes in color, hair extensions, and curls.

Despite the salon staff going to great lengths to accommodate her request, Megan expressed loud and rude dissatisfaction with the final results, particularly the color and length of her hair. Her complaints escalated, with Megan accusing the stylist of damaging her hair and demanding a redo. The stylist's attempts to rectify the situation fell short of Megan's expectations. Furthermore, Megan was taken aback by the bill, which amounted to $2,000, covering the cost of products and a tip. She refused to pay, citing her royal status and requesting a discount.

Local residents in Montesito have expressed their opinions on the matter. One resident asserted that Megan was never truly royal, highlighting that Prince Harry had relinquished his minor royal status at her insistence. The resident also claimed that Megan's frustration was frequently directed towards staff and her own family, stating, "Please, please don't refer to them as Royal." Another local echoed this sentiment, emphasizing that there are no royals in the USA.

Adding to the intrigue, it has been reported that Prince Harry was conspicuously absent from the Royal Family's coronation documentary, despite his earlier presence at the event. Miss Krux, a royal commentator, noted that Harry's absence did not come as a surprise, as he was not featured in the coronation proceedings. She further remarked that Harry, along with his wife and children, had chosen to remain in California. Nevertheless, Harry had insisted on giving his children the titles of prince and princess, despite not being the central focus of the royal events.
