Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Set to Alter Strategy in Effort to Boost Popularity

In a strategic maneuver aimed at enhancing their public appeal, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are set to modify their approach, as suggested by an esteemed royal commentator. The anticipation is for a perceptible shift in their public perception from the prior year, with Meghan subtly alluding to "exciting developments on the horizon." Renowned royal author, Phil Dampier, conveyed to Fabulous, "It appears that Harry and Meghan have come to the realization that their public image over the past year has been overwhelmingly unfavorable. They've been associated with constant grievances and complaints about the royal family and their overall circumstances.

In all likelihood, guided by their public relations advisors, it seems they are poised to adopt a different approach in 2024." The challenges faced by the Duke and Duchess in the preceding year, particularly the mixed reviews received by Harry's memoir, "Spare," contributed to a tumultuous period. Dampier contended that the royal couple is eager to reclaim a positive narrative by showcasing their philanthropic endeavors while also projecting an image of enjoyment and revelry. Mark Borkowski, a prominent crisis management expert in the UK, opined that the upcoming year, 2024, could be pivotal for Harry and Meghan.

Speaking to the MailOnline, Borkowski asserted, "There is a palpable unraveling at the core of Meghan and Harry. I believe 2024 will be seismic—either they will undertake measures to recover and adopt a new positive strategy, or it could potentially mark the undoing of their brand."

The preceding year saw Prince Harry spending time with Rob McElhenney and Glenn Howerton, actors from the television series "It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia." McElhenney reminisced by sharing a throwback photo from 2023, depicting himself with Prince Harry and Glenn Howerton at a sports bar.

Dampier suggested that Harry could benefit from casual interactions with McElhenney, providing an opportunity to unwind and engage in conversations about sports. Meghan, in a recent cameo appearance, featured in a coffee advertisement where she was observed packing boxes and collaborating with the online team. Having invested in the coffee brand, Clevr Blends, the Duchess endorsed the product by sending samples to notable figures, including Oprah Winfrey.

Dampier remarked, "Meghan's presence in the coffee ad aims to portray her in a relatable manner—being on the same wavelength as ordinary workers. A fleeting glimpse gives the impression that she's not hogging the limelight." There are subtle indications that Meghan might reshape her image by relaunching her blog, "The Tig," which ceased operations in 2017.

Dampier added, "Speculation abounds regarding Meghan's next move, with suggestions ranging from a lifestyle blog similar to Gwyneth Paltrow's."
