The Queen Unveiled: Prince Harry & Meghan Markle Biographer Reveals the Truth Behind Lilibet Fury

As many of you may know, Lilibet is a nickname that the late Queen Elizabeth II used for herself as a child, and it was also a term of endearment used by her husband, Prince Philip. However, not everyone is thrilled with Harry and Meghan's decision to use this name, especially their biographer, who has taken a swipe at the Queen over her alleged fury at the couple. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's biographer, Omid Scobie, has placed blame on the late Queen for Lilibet's fury. Scobie criticized Queen Elizabeth II in a social media post, stating, "None of these revelations about Lilibet are of any use to Queen Elizabeth II." He argued that it contradicts information shared by the palace in a 2022 biography and presents the monarch in an unfamiliar light.

Royal author Robert Hardman, in his new book "Charles III: New King, New Court," revealed that the Royal aides had never seen the Queen as upset as she was after the Sussexes announced the name Lilibet. Hardman wrote, "When I saw Elizabeth II, she was as angry as I'd ever seen her after the Sussexes announced that she had given her blessing to name their daughter Lilibet, the Queen's childhood nickname."

However, when the Sussexes attempted to involve the palace in supporting their version of events, they were reportedly rebuffed. According to the Queen, "I have no palace, no painting, and my only thing is my name. Now they have taken it." A spokesperson for Harry and Meghan stated that the Duke spoke with his family, and his grandmother was the first he called. In that conversation, he expressed his desire to name his daughter Lilibet after her. The spokesperson emphasized that they wouldn't have used the name if the Queen didn't support it.
