Kate Robertson Issues Warning to Meghan Markle: Potential Jail Time for Alleged Theft of Archewell Donation

One Young World, a global organization supported by Meghan Markle, has recently come under scrutiny as it received an official warning from the Charities Regulator regarding staff payments. The Charity Commission launched an investigation into One Young World in response to concerns raised about senior staff salaries, bonuses, and potential conflicts of interest.  One Young World, which describes itself as a global forum for young leaders, has gained significant public attention, partly due to Meghan Markle's involvement as one of its counselors since 2014. Meghan expressed her admiration for the organization during a speech in Manchester, highlighting her respect for its work. However, the Mail on Sunday has revealed that the regulator intervened due to concerns over inflated pay and benefits received by senior executives at the charity.

The Charity Commission stated that it had found unauthorized salary payments made to an employee, believed to be Ella Robertson McKay, the managing director and daughter of the charity's chief executive, Kate Robertson. Kate Robertson herself was a trustee of the charity until her resignation in July 2023. The commission also highlighted unauthorized bonus payments made to Robertson. Additionally, concerns were raised about the founders or directors paying themselves a significant portion of the funds raised, including bonuses, even during periods without events.

Critics argue that the exorbitant ticket prices and disproportionate salaries make One Young World seem exclusive and inaccessible to everyday young individuals striving to make a positive impact. Meghan's involvement with the charity since 2014 includes attending the opening ceremony at the Royal Albert Hall in 2019 and hosting a roundtable for gender equality activists at Windsor Castle, where Prince Harry was also present. She has continued to collaborate with and support several One Young World ambassadors, particularly those advocating for equal rights for women and girls.

Following inquiries from the Mail on Sunday, the Charity Commission announced that it had initiated a Regulatory Compliance case to investigate concerns surrounding remuneration at One Young World. Speculation has also arisen about the possibility of the Invictus Games Foundation being the next subject of investigation. These instances raise questions about the transparency and integrity of various charitable ventures associated with the Sussexes.

Allegations of financial misconduct extend to Archewell, a group of Delaware-registered foundations established by Harry and Meghan. Concerns have been raised about the legitimacy of their operations, and some have accused them of using these foundations as means to siphon money. Calls for a thorough investigation into their financial practices have intensified, including a global examination of their alleged financial crimes.

Furthermore, attention should be directed towards the Sussex Squad, a group of supporters who fundraise on behalf of Harry and Meghan. Questions have been raised about the whereabouts of the funds they raised for various causes, such as the invisible children. There are allegations that Megan spent the money on personal expenses, despite claims of donations made by the couple. The financial activities of the Sussex Squad, including their fundraising for the Center Bell and Kaboom playground rebuilding, warrant further scrutiny, as discrepancies have been identified in Archewell's financial filings.

The revelations surrounding One Young World and the broader charitable ventures associated with Harry and Meghan have shed light on the questionable practices within the charity industry. It has raised concerns about the exploitation of charitable platforms for personal gain and reputation enhancement. A comprehensive investigation into these matters is necessary to ensure transparency, accountability, and the safeguarding of charitable funds.
