On Saturday, Meghan joined the Southern California Welcome Project for an enchanting session of storytelling and culinary exploration. The Welcome Project, initiated by the Arul Foundation last year, aims to foster a safe and inclusive environment for women resettled in the United States from Afghanistan. Meghan, clad in a black jacket and an Arch Foundation apron, was captured in photos shared on the Foundation's website as she enthusiastically assisted in preparing traditional Afghan dishes alongside 15 women.

After the culinary adventure, Meghan engaged in heartfelt conversations with the women, delving into their personal narratives and the support network they provide. It's been a challenging time for Harry and Meghan, along with the entire royal family, following the announcement of King Charles's cancer diagnosis at the start of February.

Following the news on February 5th, Harry flew to the UK to visit his father, while Meghan remained at their home in Montecito, likely to spend time with their two children, Archie and Lilibet, before they joined her in Canada later in the week. Harry's visit to the UK involved a brief meeting with his father at Clarence House before Charles was seen attending St. Mary Magdalene Church at Sandringham over the weekend.
