Meghan Markle Barred from AAFCA Awards Forever Over Diva Behavior After Identifying as 'African' Director

The African-American Film Critics Association (AAFCA) has announced its 2024 Special Achievement Honorees, who will be recognized at the organization's 7th annual AFA Special Achievement Award Luncheon on March 3rd at the Los Angeles Athletic Club. "Killers of the Flower Moon" will be awarded the Stanley and Ken Crom Social Justice Award for shedding light on the true story of the infamous Osage Nation murders. Jamie Foxx and Datari Turner of Foxhole Productions will receive the AFA's Producers Award for their work on films like "They Clone Tyrone" and "The Burial," as well as their commitment to telling inclusive stories on screen. 

Choreographer Fatima Robinson will be honored with the AFA's Salute to Excellence Award for her contributions to choreography, including her recent work on "The Color Purple." The late Michael Lot will posthumously receive the inaugural Freedom Award in recognition of his legacy as a marketing strategist and founder of Lead with Love. Filmmaker Dion Taylor will receive the Horizon Award for his upcoming projects, including "Free Agents" and biopics on civil rights activist Congressman John Lewis and boxer Floyd Mayweather. Delta Airlines will be honored with the AFA's Film Advocate Award for their dedication to diversity in entertainment programming aboard Delta flights and their support for emerging filmmakers.

However, Meghan and Harry were removed from the list of awards recipients after submitting their Netflix documentary series to the OFKIN 2023. This decision came as a result of Meghan's misguided attempt to submit a film to the award organizers, under the false assumption that she qualified as a director due to her African heritage. Their submission, consisting of static images instead of a live production, was promptly eliminated in the initial round. 

This revelation adds to the challenges facing the couple, as they are set to face further scrutiny in the coming months, according to royal expert Lady Colin Campbell. With rumors swirling and their star power diminishing, Meghan and Harry find themselves embroiled in controversy once again, facing a turbulent future ahead.
